A cap front brings a curved surface, possible center seam and a specific frame into the job. Those details matter when a logo moves from chest embroidery to headwear.

Include a cap photo, construction, placement, size and machine or frame details. Have the file reviewed and run a sample on the intended cap.

The patch shown is a portfolio sample, not evidence of a cap sew-out.

slide-01.png A cap is a different brief.. Same logo. New production context. A full photograph of embroidery illustrates the topic. slide-02.png THE FRONT ISN’T FLAT. The crown shape, center seam, construction and frame can affect how the design runs. A chest file should be reviewed before it is used on a cap. slide-03.png SEND THESE WITH THE LOGO. Cap style: Structured or unstructured, plus a photo. Placement: Front, side or back, with dimensions. Setup: Machine and cap frame, if known. Use the usable sewing area, not the outer dimensions of the cap. slide-04.png REVIEW THE FILE. TEST THE CAP. Check the plan for the intended cap and run a sample before starting the order. The illustrated patch is a portfolio sample, not a cap sew-out. Ask for a cap-specific brief.
