Tiny lettering has physical limits. There is no single minimum that works for every font, thread, fabric and machine setup.

Enlarging, simplifying or rearranging the artwork can improve the starting point. Review at the intended dimensions and test before the production run.

A word that looks clear on a large screen may close up when stitched at the final size. Review the intended dimensions, not just a magnified preview. slide-03.png THREE WAYS TO MAKE ROOM. Enlarge: Give the lettering more physical space. Simplify: Reduce fine strokes or tiny details. Rearrange: Change the layout to improve spacing. Choose the approach that respects the artwork and the application. slide-04.png THERE IS NO UNIVERSAL MAGIC SIZE. Font, thread, needle, fabric and stitch method all affect the result. A sew-out is the practical check. Ask what is feasible before promising your customer. Send artwork at the intended size.
